2020 was all about self-care and showing ourselves love through everything from skincare to exercise. We LOVED seeing each and every one of our Hemp Lovin’ Babes treat themselves during lockdowns and isolation and want to make sure that you keep scheduling that me-time in 2021!
That’s why this month, we’re sharing our Sunday self-care routine. Your challenge is to set aside time each week that’s just for you. Whether it’s catching up on your favourite shows (don’t even get us started on Bridgeton), enjoying a relaxing bath or pressing play on your most-loved podcast, our Sunday self-care routine can be incorporated into however you practice self-care. Ready, set, zen!
Cleanse it, cleanse it real good
Every solid self-care routine begins with a thorough cleanse. It’s going to remove any excess makeup, dirt, debris and bad vibes. Take this moment to massage your skin for 30-60 seconds. Not rushing your cleansing process is key to not only ensuring your skin is perfectly prepped but also so your skincare ingredients can do their thing. Make this a daily ritual to boost circulation and effectively cleanse your complexion to ensure the rest of your skincare can truly shine.
Refine that complexion
Whether you’re a physical or chemical exfoliating babe, make sure you’re using your exfoliating products 2-3 times per week. Exfoliating is essential to any skincare routine as it breaks down the old, dead skin cells that just won’t hit the road. When we regularly renew our complexion with exfoliation, we’re making way for gorgeously glowing new skin cells to make their way through and refine your skin’s texture… and who doesn’t want that!
