I was lucky to trial this before it got released to the public and I am in LOVE. It's lightweight fluid texture makes it work so seamlessly into my routine - it's not sticky at all and just soaks into my skin so it's the perfect primer under my makeup. Also, it doesn't affect my sensitive eyes, which is such a problem for me! Swapping over to this because the cost is great compared to my old sunscreen. Definitely give it ago!

How do I work this into my skincare steps?
Smooth a generous amount evenly over dry skin at least 20 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply liberally every 2 hours or more frequently after swimming, exercising or towel drying. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and wear protective clothing, eyewear and a hat.
How much do I apply?
Using the proper amount of sunscreen is a huge part of measuring whether sunscreen is effective and serving its purpose (Shade... get it?) as you wear it!
According to the Cancer Council, the recommended amount is 5mL (approximately one teaspoon) to cover your entire face, neck and ears.
Is Serving Shade a chemical or physical sunscreen?
Serving Shade is a chemical sunscreen with the latest lightweight, broad-spectrum sun protection technology.
So, why chemical filters? Physical and chemical UV filters work quite similarly. Both chemical and physical filters work by absorbing ultraviolet rays, while physical filters also reflect a small amount of the UV.
The downside of physical filters is they can often leave a heavy, greasy white cast on the skin and are known to have pore-clogging properties - especially when formulated to deliver high protection. Will this sunscreen work for my skin type?

Acne-prone skin:
Lightweight sunscreens are less occlusive, which means they are less likely to clog pores or leave a heavy residue on the skin, which can often lead to acne breakouts.
Oily skin:
Serving Shade is undetectable on the skin, and doesn't leave any greasy or oily residue throughout the day, and doesn't compromise on hydration.
Dry skin:
Serving Shade might be lightweight on the skin, but it's a heavyweight on hydration! Hyaluronic Acid delivers deep hydration while Vitamin E supports the skin barrier to keep dry skin happy, hydrated and protected!
